Creamy and delicious. #Tiramisu is a dessert that almost everybody enjoys. My family loves it and I decided to make something special for them. I hope you like it!

LADY FINGERS PREPARATION

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C / 350 F.
  2. Start beating egg whites with a mixer. When they start to form soft peaks, add sugar and continue mixing until you get a meringue.
  3. Add egg yolks and vanilla to the meringue and beat for approximately 30 seconds.
  4. Remove the batter from the mixer, sift the flour and incorporate it into your mixture using encircling movements with a spatula until it is completely integrated.
  5. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat and make the fingers with the help of a piping bag or a ziploc bag.
  6. Sprinkle granulated or powdered sugar on top.
  7. Bake them for 15 minutes.

CREAM Ingredients:

queso - cheese

CREAM PREPARATION

  1. Start by beating the mascarpone with sugar until it dissolves.
  2. Add the cream and continue beating until it has a thick and creamy consistency.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Prepare a cup of espresso. Once it’s cold, dip your fingers in the coffee. Create a layer of the dipped fingers on your baking dish.
  2. Add and spread a layer of cream with a spatula, and sprinkle cocoa powder once even.
  3. Repeat this process until your baking dish is full. Take your tiramisu to the fridge and leave it there for at least 3 hours.

VARIATIONS:

  1. If you do not have mascarpone you can substitute it with cream cheese, although the taste will not be the same.
  2. If you want to give it a special touch you can add two tablespoons of rum or the liquor of your preference to the espresso.
  3. The classic tiramisu recipe has egg yolks, if you want you can add 3 egg yolks to your cream when you are beating the cheese with the sugar.
